How to Apply

We use a third-party system, Lotterese, to run our enrollment lottery/waitlist for transparency and fairness. Since Lotterese is an independent system, the school staff does not have the ability to adjust or manipulate the lottery outcome. Please attend a tour or Open House (see below) to get the lottery link. Our lottery will be held on March 8th, 2024, on which you will be notified of your lottery results.

If the Homeschool program interests you, skip the tour and fill out this form instead.

Open House & Tours

We hope that parents will come tour our school and attend the Open House. The tours give prospective families a look around campus, see a school day in action and check out the classrooms, both indoor and out. The Open House is a chance for families to hear from the Executive Director, teachers, students and the PTO. Attending both events will give a fully rounded view of Creekside Charter School although you will only need to attend one event in order to enter the lottery.

Our Open House is held at Creekside Charter School on Friday, Feb 9th, 2024 from 11:00am to 12:00pm. Sign up below.

Tours

We hold tours often throughout tour season. Some weeks are focused on 1st through 8th grade tours and others are specific to TK/K. If you have a child going into TK/K, please sign up for those tours. We have special programs in TK/K that are important to learn more about before applying to the lottery. Sign up below.

Esperamos que los padres vengan a visitar nuestra escuela y asistan a la jornada de puertas abiertas. Los recorridos brindan a las posibles familias un vistazo al campus, ven un día escolar en acción y revisan las aulas, tanto en el interior como en el exterior. La jornada de puertas abiertas es una oportunidad para que las familias escuchen al Director Ejecutivo, los maestros, los estudiantes y el PTO. Asistir a ambos eventos le brindará una visión completa de Creekside Charter School, aunque solo necesitará asistir a un evento para poder participar en la lotería.

Nuestra jornada de puertas abiertas se llevó a cabo en Creekside Charter School el viernes 9 de febrero de 2024 de 11:00 a. m. a 12:00 p. m.

Excursiones

Realizamos recorridos con frecuencia durante la temporada de recorridos. Algunas semanas se centran en recorridos de 1.º a 8.º grado y otras son específicas de TK/K. Si tiene un hijo que asiste a TK/K, regístrese en esos recorridos. Tenemos programas especiales en TK/K sobre los cuales es importante aprender más antes de postularse a la lotería.

Transitional Kindergarten Age Requirement

In 2024–25, children are eligible for TK if they turn 5 between and including September 2, 2024 and June 2, 2025.

Kindergarten Age Requirement

In 2024-25, children must be five years of age on or before September 1 of 2024 to enter kindergarten (EC Section 48000[a]).

Notice of legal compliance:

California Education Code (EC) Section 47605(d)(4) states the following:

A charter school shall not discourage a pupil from enrolling or seeking to enroll in a charter school for any reason, including, but not limited to, academic performance of the pupil or because the pupil exhibits any of the following characteristics: academically low-achieving, economically disadvantaged, english learner, ethnicity, foster youth, homeless, nationality, neglected or delinquent, race, sexual orientation, or pupils with disabilities.
A charter school shall not encourage a pupil currently attending the charter school to dis-enroll from the charter school or transfer to another school for any reason except for suspension or expulsion.
