Admissions

We are excited you are interested in Creekside! We follow all of the California charter laws for admissions, and accept all students regardless of race, religion, disability, or economic status.   

We encourage parents to contact us with questions regarding enrollment.  

We currently have one open space in 2nd grade and one open space in 6th grade.  Please contact Jeff Kraunz for more information.

Thank you for your interest in Creekside Charter!  Our lottery for the 2023-24 school year was held on March 10th at 10:00 A.M.

Open House & Tours

Our tours for the 2023-2024 school year have concluded.  If you are interested in applying for the 2024-25 school year we will offer tours and open houses in December of this year.

Transitional Kindergarten Age Requirement

In 2024–25, children are eligible for TK if they turn 5 between September 2 and June 2.

Kindergarten Age Requirement

Students must be 5 on or before September 1, 2024 to be eligible for Kindergarten.

How to Apply

Our lottery has concluded for the 2023-24 school year.  Please check back in December to apply for the 2024-25 school year.

 

We use a third-party system, Lotterease, to run our enrollment lottery/waitlist for transparency and fairness. Since Lotterease is an independent system, the school staff does not have the ability to adjust or manipulate the lottery outcome.

Notice of legal compliance:

California Education Code (EC) Section 47605(d)(4) states the following:  

  • A charter school shall not discourage a pupil from enrolling or seeking to enroll in a charter school for any reason, including, but not limited to, academic performance of the pupil or because the pupil exhibits any of the following characteristics:  academically low-achieving, economically disadvantaged, english learner, ethnicity, foster youth, homeless, nationality, neglected or delinquent, race, sexual orientation, or pupils with disabilities. 

  • A charter school shall not encourage a pupil currently attending the charter school to dis-enroll from the charter school or transfer to another school for any reason except for suspension or expulsion.
