Julia Masur

This is my fifth year teaching, almost all of which has been with 7th and 8th grade. I have taught every subject at both grade levels, and am excited to get to focus on ELA and social studies this year. I am a self-proclaimed book and history nerd, and I studied history, education, and sociology at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. I am originally from the Bay Area, but was on ski team at Alpine for a long time, and have coached ski team there for over a decade. I also competed in club ski racing in college. In my spare time, I am usually outside skiing, swimming, hiking, or biking, or inside with a good book or a crochet project. I'm excited to read, write, and explore history with your students this year!
